Have I? I suppose we have had a few lengthy conversations, and have worked on a small project together. He's an engaging fellow.

One that involved forbidden tomes, crime, and adventure. Maybe he'll tell you about it sometime. And yes, the flattery has been nice, I will admit. I'm sure you must be enjoying it as well.

It did seem uncharacteristic of you. How did you two get on the subject?

I caught him reading a book about it, and he had questions. I simply sent him to what I thought would be a likely source for answers.

1) I am conflicted regarding whether I should feel offended or flattered. 2) A book about it. Questions. He is precious.

Undoubtedly. I can think of several different ways that he could very easily end up getting into trouble, here.
